Founded in 2000, Emerald Technology initially sought to bridge the gap between the large, often slow-moving global recruitment firms, and the small, boutique recruitment consultancies with limited delivery capabilities. Since our inception, however, the technology world has undergone seismic changes, with major players disappearing or merging, and new ones emerging from nowhere to become a global force.
A shift in geographies, and technologies advancing at an exponential rate, has meant continuously evolving resource requirements, with new skills needed and a paradigm shift in how people work and view their career paths. With the pace still accelerating, we confidently expect to see yet more change in the coming decade, and an even greater requirement for effective talent acquisition, research and analysis, as people become ever more globally mobile.
In parallel with how the tech world is changing and offering new opportunities, new challenges and higher performance expectations; Emerald is also investing heavily in our future and our clients. By expanding our service portfolio and opening our Singapore, and Middle Eastern Dubai offices in 2014, we intend to be the sole provider for all of our client’s expansion needs.
